Additional Inspection Services
If you’re trying to sell a home, you’ll want to schedule this inspection to help the process move along more smoothly. Before you make your listing, we’ll evaluate the readily accessible areas of the property, informing you of any defective components we discover. With this information at hand, you can arrange for repairs to be made before showing the home to ensure that a known issue doesn’t detract from a buyer’s offer—or you can simply make the information public so that negotiations aren’t stalled due to the buyer’s inspector discovering the issue at a later date.
New Construction Inspection
This inspection should be scheduled before the builder performs the final walkthrough of your new home. We’ll arrive to the property to perform a full evaluation, checking to see if any defects are present in the home’s structure or installed mechanical systems. If we do discover issues, you can arrange for them to be corrected while the builder is still available.
If we determined that a home component was defective during our original inspection, you’ll want to be sure to schedule a Re-Inspection once the seller of the home has contacted you to confirm that repairs have been completed. We’ll then return to the property to verify this information, carefully evaluating any repair work to ensure that it was done adequately and that there are no additional problems.
This inspection service is designed for clients who would rather have a basic overview of a home rather than scheduling a full-scale inspection. We’ll take you on a walkthrough of the home’s critical components, pointing out clear strengths and any areas of concern that we come across. A written report is not included with this inspection service.
At Take Me Home Inspections, we want you to be able to buy a home on your own terms.
That’s why we provide a home inspection that lays the groundwork for a protected investment, giving you the knowledge you need to succeed while leaving the negotiating process entirely up to you.
